The BIOntier project officially launched on October 10-11 at the Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas (FORTH) in Heraklion, Crete!

🌍This Horizon EU-funded project brings together a consortium to tackle environmental challenges by developing a holistic, industry-driven platform for the design, development, and scalable fabrication of the next generation of sustainable, lightweight, and recyclable biobased composites with enhanced properties and functionalities.

With all partners gathered both in person and virtually,the kick-off meeting featured engaging presentations, each followed by a brief discussion that allowed organizations to share their expertise and vision while fostering valuable exchanges. The consortium explored the project’s goals, work packages, and next steps. 🤝The day ended with a social dinner in Heraklion, where partners strengthened connections, laying the groundwork for a successful and innovative collaboration ahead.
