Danae Katrisioti
PhD
Danae Katrisioti currently, is a PhD student at the University of Crete’s Department of Materials Science and Technology. In 2020, she graduated with a bachelor’s degree in “Material Science and Technology.” She then enrolled in the MSc program in the same field to continue her education. She started working with two-dimensional materials in the IESL, FORTH “Ultrafast Laser Micro and Nano Processing” Laboratory in 2020. “Spectroscopic studies of two dimensional single and few-layers of SnS2 and MoSe2” was the topic of her MSc thesis.
Her current research interests include light-matter interactions in 2D semiconductors, exciton formation and relaxation, near-field interactions and interlayer coupling in 2D heterostructures.
