Athanasia Pylostomou

K. Pylostomou is a Master Student at the Dept. of Materials Science and Technology of the Univ. of Crete. She received her bachelor degree in Physics from the same university in 2017 and in the ratings she belonged to the 10% of the students in her graduation. She joined the Ultrafast Laser Micro- and Nano- Processing Group of IESL-FORTH in 2014 for an internship and continued with her diploma and master thesis. Her research field includes Laser Ablation in Liquids,Laser Material synthesis, Thin film creation, 2D Materials and Graphene and their biological/biomedical applications.
